An attempt of tiny gesture to spread the goodwill and better friendships today, I was happy to engage students of BE II Civil class at the Bhagwan Mahavir College of Engineering & Technology (BMCET) Surat. I was invited for conducting a talk on the subject that was revolving around basic sensitization about the technology of Remote Sensing (RS) and Geographical Information System (GIS) along its application in diverse tasks pertaining to Civil Engineering discipline. I extend a sense of gratitude to Prof. Bhaumik Mengar, Prof. Nisha Soni (Head, CED) and Dr. R. R. Sawant, Director, BMCET. Also, inspirations of Dr. Vaishali Mungurwadi, Principal, SCET and support extended by Dr. P. A. Patel, Head, Faculty of Civil Engineering, SCET was motivating.
